Music for peace

A living tradition, shared across generations

Himalayan Dreams is a New England-based ensemble sharing the traditional music of Nepal. The ensemble features Shyam Nepali, Pramod Upadhyaya, Ranjan Budhathoki and traditional Nepali vocalist Tilak Shrestha. Together, our performances bring the expressive voice of the sarangi, the pulse of tabla, the breath of bansuri and the warmth of traditional Nepali vocals.

We create welcoming cultural experiences for concert audiences, students, families and communities—connecting the stories of the Himalayas with the places we now call home.
